“This class is amazing, so much fun and the social, physical, and emotional growth and confidence from the students was evident.”
In 2004, the seeds of Adaptive Musical Theatre were planted with the creation of Dramapalooza in Garland, Texas. “Dramapalooza was created to bring a new and exciting experience to the Garland Therapeutic Recreation group. The performers are exposed to the full cultural arts experience through this class. Each element of this unique program helps to promote independence, self confidence, and a sense of belonging. Accommodations are made to meet the needs of each performer which include individuals that are non-verbal, individuals that use wheelchairs, and individuals with social anxiety. Every participant is given a chance to shine bright on stage regardless of ability.” Heather K. Lambert, CTRS, CPRP, Sr. Recreation Services Supervisor, TRAPS North Region Director, Garland Parks and Recreation

Wouldn't it be a good idea to create a course?
