Summit 25: Theatre: S1S1: Expanding Determination and Resilience in Fine Arts Disciplines Theatre Application in Core Studies

With so many human form plates available online, why teach students to draw the human form themselves? Many students bypass the opportunity to participate in a costuming challenge because they can’t draw, they feel stifled by traditional gender roles or they are intimidated by the body types portrayed in forms on the internet. Doing it themselves is a challenge for the young designer even if they possess some drawing talent. Fit and form are abstract concepts for some and understanding how to manipulate a plate form to fit all shapes and sizes makes a more confident designer. Check out this course to improve your own skill and convey the information to your student designers.
